VOLUNTEERS

In 2022 Thanksgiving and 2023 Easter we had over 475 volunteers that invested over 5800 hours of giving back to the community. In 2022, we distributed 3,900 baskets (242,000 pounds of food).

 

Easter, 2023, we distributed 3,000 baskets (85,600 pounds of food).

The goal of Feed The Needy is to continue to grow and to service 10% more families in the coming years.

Also, for the past 29 years, Feed The Needy has provided 60 turkeys to the “City of Memphis Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner for The Homeless and Hungry.”

 

 

Volunteers are needed to help assemble food boxes, pack food boxes, and assist with the loading of vehicles for delivery.
